Adventure Village - Our Sunday Morning Children's Ministry
BIBLE Adventure Village Fall Update
• Elementary ages, grades 1-5 will have classes available again
at both 9AM and 10:30AM services, beginning Sunday September 5th, Labor Day Weekend. We'll conclude our summer series on Paul's mission with a video of his life.
• Our kindergarten students will now be combined with pre-k to provide age-appropriate lessons and activities in room 130, just around the corner
from our pre-school classrooms.
• We've added the BIBLE heading to our Adventure Village name as our new curriculum brings more focus to telling God's story, book by book, through the Bible. Pre-schoolers through kindergarten age begin "In the beginning" with creation, followed by Noah in September.
• Grades 1-5 will have their own version of Living on the Edge - r12, beginning September 12th.
• On September 12th, grades 1-5 will check in at the lobby welcome table, participate in worship with their families in the sanctuary, then be dismissed for their r12 lesson and small group activities in the lower level. Students will be picked up after service at their classrooms.
• Grade 1-5 students will begin their journey through the Bible with "God's Big Picture" starting in January, following the conclusion of our High Point character quality series and celebration of Christmas.
